Barbon Manor

The hill

• Short and very fast — the course runs up the private driveway of Barbon Manor near Kirkby Lonsdale.
• The inaugural event on 24 August 1950 was a closed members' test; the layout was around 150 yards longer than today.
• The hill record of 20.08s was set by Jos Goodyear in 2015.
