- England's only natural road racing circuit — a 2.41-mile course on the wooded slopes above Scarborough.
- First raced in 1946 as part of a 'Welcome Home Week' for returning World War II servicemen.
- Primarily a motorcycle road racing venue, but also hosts hill climb and sprint events throughout the year.
